The Robotics Integration Engineer is responsible for integrating our mGripAI picking solution with Industrial Robots including (but not limited to) Fanuc, ABB and Staubli. As a Robotics Integration Engineer, your primary responsibility is for the Robot-side of the Software interface between mGripAI and the Robot. The Robot-side Software is part of the product deliverable to the customer.


Your secondary responsibility is the role of Robot Systems Engineer. In this role, you will work with cross functional teams (Hardware, Software and Applications Engineers) to develop new capabilities for mGripAI and for new customer applications. This is typically hands-on work in our robot lab designing, testing and iterating to increase system performance and solve customer challenges. Lastly, as the ideal candidate, you have experience with Industrial Automation Equipment and can specify and integrate PLC’s, safety systems, pneumatics, sensors and conveyors.



  • Develop, release and maintain Robot Code
  • Collaborate with Software, Applications, and Hardware teams to solve technical problems and develop new capabilities
  • Provide technical support remote and onsite
  • Troubleshoot and analyze any problems with robot integration
  • Provide feedback to Hardware and Software teams that improve integration and user experience
  • Specify and integrate Industrial Automation Components


  • BS in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in robotics integration and/or applications engineering
  • Experience in programming FANUC and ABB industrial robotic systems
  • Python/C/C++ experience
  • Experience with programming PLCs
  • Version control, git preferred
  • Familiarity with Linux command line tools
  • Windows batch scripting nice to have
  • Experience with functional safety systems for industrial controls
  • Ability to debug electrical schematics and industrial control systems
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
