Position Summary

We are looking to hire a Quality Assurance Technician to participate in a wide range of inspection activities (incoming, in-process, final, first article, testing). The technician will work closely with Manufacturing Technicians, Manufacturing & Quality Engineering, and Supply Chain in the support of continued revenue growth.

The ideal candidate for this role has start-up experience, is comfortable working under tight timelines in a high energy environment. Candidate will be open minded to learning about new technologies.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Independently perform incoming inspection, in-process inspections and finished product quality inspection
  • Identify and report non-conformances using documented procedures. Assist with investigations and dispositioning of nonconforming materials
  • Review, revise, and update standard operating procedures as needed
  • Perform QA monitoring of controlled manufacturing area
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience/Education Requirements

Required:

  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings, engineering change orders and established operating procedures
  •  Understanding of basic statistics
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills to successfully complete a wide variety of job duties and responsibilities in a timely manner
  •  High School Diploma required or Technical degree in technical fields including Hard Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, and Materials Science preferred
  • 1-3 years’ work experience, preferably in QC/QA in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
